Nothing makes us feel more festive than a warming cocktail on a cold winter’s night and if it’s expertly mixed and served in our Barwell crystal glassware, so much the better. Of course we’re fans of the classics, but sometimes it’s good to break out of your comfort zone and try something different – like the Penicilina cocktail in our new book, Morning Noon Night. A potent blend of tequila, lemon, ginger and honey, it packs a punch and (might) help keep colds at bay too.

The Penicilina

INGREDIENTS
50ml blanco tequila
25ml lemon juice
15ml ginger syrup
10ml honey water
mezcal spray
Crystallised ginger, to serve

Shake the ingredients together and strain over ice
Serve in a cut-crystal tumbler
Garnish with a few cubes of crystallised ginger on a cocktail stick.

Barwell crystal

With its distinctive hand-etched pattern (inspired by a vintage wallpaper print), our Barwell crystal is a familiar and much-loved sight in all the Houses. In fact it's such a House signature, we named it after the Barwell Barn at Soho Farmhouse.

Made from 24% lead crystal which is known for its clarity and brilliance, it's durable enough to stand up to a busy Friday night service in our bars so you can feel confident it'll easily handle life in your home.

House Tip: For a chilled drink without ice, place the glass in the freezer for a few hours before serving.
