Our Dean Street collection is very much a tale of two houses, namely the historic pair of Georgian buildings in Soho now known as Dean Street Townhouse and Soho House 76 Dean Street. Their opulent-yet-cosy rooms inspired the embellished textiles, vintage-style lamps and comfy velvet armchairs that make up the range.

Soho House 76 Dean Street is a members’ club set over four floors of a Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse with a courtyard, club bar, House kitchen, sitting room, rooftop bar and basement cinema. Built in 1732, the building was ravaged in a fire in 2009 but has quite literally risen from the ashes. A few doors down at numbers 69-71, Dean Street Townhouse is our 39-bedroom townhouse and restaurant. Over three centuries of colourful history have seen the building welcome artists, actors and musicians and the same is true today. Find out more about the story of these historic buildings here.

You'll find pairs of chairs all around the Houses; using two in the same style rather than one gives balance and symmetry. Our Percy chair is covered in ribbed velvet making it both durable and comfy. It has traditional scrolled, flared arms and turned legs. You'll find the Percy sofa at the ends of the beds in the Dean Street Townhouse bedrooms. Our compact Margot footstool can act as seating for extra guests, somewhere to put your feet up or as even a side table with a tray on top. It can be seen throughout the rooms in many of our London Houses including Soho House 76 Dean Street and The Ned.
