We love working with people who value craftsmanship and design as much as we do, and this season sees the launch of a very special collaboration between our homegrown spa brand, Cowshed and Mary Katrantzou. The award-winning designer gave her four favourite Cowshed products a makeover and designed silk twill pyjamas and makeup bags to match, making this limited edition collection one that’s guaranteed to move fast.

Mary Katrantzou launched her eponymous label in 2008 after graduating from Central Saint Martin’s. Part of the generation of London designers who revolutionised fashion with their innovative use of digital technology, she was dubbed ‘The Queen of Print.' Her work has been exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and she has designed costumes for the NYC Ballet and Paris Opera, as well as collaborating with artist Pablo Bronstein. A Soho House member, Mary has hosted events in the Houses including Fashion for Breakfast.

Mary said of the collaboration ‘The new designs combine the innovative essence of Cowshed’s dedication to honest natural ingredients with our signature patterns to create a fusion of fashion and beauty. Soho House has always been a home away from home for me and the Cowshed ethos of honest, natural products, free of parabens with no animal testing, resonates with my own approach to beauty. I love the Cowshed Spa and their products so I was very open to the idea of a collaboration when we were first approached. The range we created combines the nourishing ingredients that make the products so great with our signature patterns to create a fusion of fashion and beauty.

'It was about keeping the designs graphic but adding warmth and colour with a metallic silver and gold element to make them stand out from the graphic monochromes of the original bottle that have become so recognisable. Playing with the signature, while keeping the botanical element, we created a rainbow floral print to inject colour to the key Cowshed beauty range in cool shades of blue and green and warm shades of orange and fuchsia. I love that people can take home a part of the warmth of the Soho House experience in this limited edition range. The pyjama style has become a signature style for us, featuring as a key silhouette over the past few collections. Its versatility to be casually chic, dressed up or down, at home or packed for your travels makes it so popular.'

'Each collaboration is challenging but incredibly rewarding in allowing me to apply my aesthetic to a format I may have not have considered before. It has allowed us to reach out to a wider audience and the Cowshed project is no exception! We have future collaborations coming up including a new jewellery collection with Atelier Swarovski, a project with Colette x Disney and our first women's shoe collection launching this September.'

The [Cowshed] signature hand washes and lotions have always been a personal favourite, I love how gentle they are on the skin, while providing a perfect cleanse and beautiful fragrance. I'm usually a "Knackered Cow" when it comes to choosing one of the Cowshed moods. I love the calming Lavender and Eucalyptus ingredients that help me unwind, so we made sure to include it in our capsule range!

Mary revealed that she loves Soho Farmhouse - 'the perfect idyllic country escape within easy reach!' - and explained what she thinks makes Soho House special: 'Its integrity throughout all the Houses, as diverse as they are geographically. I love that it all started here in the UK and its artist friendly community has created a unique atmosphere that always feels welcoming.'

'I am excited for our upcoming Spring Summer 2018 collection and stressed by all the looming deadlines. I have learned to live with stress and I try to harness it creatively. It keeps me in synch with what is happening around me and pushes me outside my comfort zone to create something new. The Mary Katrantzou woman comes from a diversity of backgrounds and shares an appreciation of design, art, as well as fashion. I hope that my work empowers women to embrace fashion as a means of expressing themselves and defining their own taste and aesthetic, while feeling confident in all the roles they occupy each day.'
