This Spring Soho Home has collaborated with renowned textiles firm Turnell & Gigon to create their pop-up at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. The space features a living room, bedroom and bathroom, all furnished with Soho Home pieces upholstered in T&G’s eclectic prints, silks, velvets and trimmings. You can see our Evelyn four poster bed with bed curtains and pelmet in 'Famosa' fabric and our Charles armchair reimagined in Turnell & Gigon's Este velvet in antique gold. Soho Home accessories and lighting – including our Houston chandelier – complete the look.

When creating the space, our design team was inspired by the elegance of the playroom at Babington House which was recently refurbished. It’s an opulent style that they felt would work well within the showroom as they wanted to showcase a more feminine look than what you might see in some of our Houses. An inherent part of the overall look is a combination of new and old and you can see that in the Turnell & Gigon showroom where we have that same mix of new Soho Home pieces and vintage products.

The team took the opportunity to pick some beautiful fabrics from T&G to reimagine our existing pieces. Design Centre Chelsea Harbour is such a creative hub, particularly for people in the interior design trade. Our designers worked with a lot of the vendors directly, such as Tim Page Carpets (who make the carpets at Soho Farmhouse and Babington House) and George Smith, who make furniture for the Houses and for Soho Home and contributed to the project by upholstering our existing pieces in Turnell & Gigon fabrics. AC Cronin reimagined our Evelyn four poster bed with a dramatic valance and curtains.

The space is open for the next few months so if you want to see some of our signature pieces in a new light, drop in and talk to the experts who are on hand to answer all your interior design questions.
