Vintage Concrete Planter

In the summer of 1951, the Festival of Britain showcased British manufacturing and design. The cultural event prompted a new design aesthetic of pared-down simplicity and elegance, with designers such as Ernest Race and Robin and Lucienne Day emerging from the festival.

• 1950s conical planter
• Statement piece in the Mid Century style of the Festival of Britain
• Thought to be influenced by Swiss concrete designer Willy Guhl
• Solid and sturdy design

Please note vintage pieces have been pre-loved and used and may have some historic repairs and signs of old, inactive woodworm, as well as varying levels of patination and wear. This is part of their unique nature and is why we love using them in our Houses as they bring character and charm to a space.
