Velvet is a staple fabric seen in many of our Houses across the world. Not only is it extremely tactile, but its deep pile enhances the depth of colour to add a rich, vibrant quality to your chosen design.
- 85% cotton velvet with a matte finish
- Our velvet has a short pile with dense fibres that capture the light differently depending on where it is placed
- A non-directional pile means the fabric can be rubbed or brushed either way without changing tone
- Naturally soft for a comfortable finish
- Durable 40,000 rub count* means this is a great fabric for slightly busier homes
*The Martindale rub count test determines how many times a material can be rubbed and/or touched before showing signs of wear and tear. The higher the count, the more durable the fabric.

Handcrafted in England, our Reya ottoman is ideal for putting your feet up and relaxing. Inspired by the furniture at DUMBO House, Brooklyn, the foam cushioned profile is upholstered in velvet with turned walnut legs. Use as an extra seat for guests, or as a footstool to create a cosy reading nook as we do in the Houses.

Delivery timeframes for our made-to-order products are an estimate, allowing time for construction, quality checks and receiving deliveries from external suppliers. There may occasionally be delays to parts of the process that mean our estimated timeframes are extended.
The total lead time for made-to-order styles will vary slightly between products. You can find product-specific estimates on each style's individual shopping page.
Once your made-to-order style has been altered to your chosen colour, size and/or finish, it will be sent to our warehouse. We then aim to have it delivered to your chosen address within three to four weeks, and will contact you by phone and/or email with an expected delivery date.
Please ensure you check measurements for doorways, stairways and any other restrictive spaces that may impede delivery prior to placing your order. Any cancellations made more than 48 hours after placing your order will be charged at 50% of the total value.

We aim to deliver large items within four to six weeks of the order date. Our trusted delivery partners will contact you directly to arrange a time and date convenient to you.
Please note that for any deliveries carried out by Jan Krediet's delivery partners, you will be asked to sign a Proof of Delivery form to confirm that you have received your item(s) as expected.
Your shipping charges include delivery up to and including the third floor*, providing there are stairs (wide enough to accommodate delivery) or an internal lift. If your property is on the fourth floor or above and there is no internal lift or, if you require an external lift for any floor and a lift permit, additional charges will apply. Please notify Jan Krediet's delivery partners of any access requirements when you are booking in your delivery slot - we will then send you a payment link for the surcharge, or provide you with a kerbside delivery quote. If access restrictions are not communicated prior to your delivery date, it may result in a failed delivery attempt.
Jan Krediet's delivery partners require 48 hours' notice to amend your scheduled delivery date. If you are not available on your pre-booked date, or if your item(s) cannot be delivered due to access requirements that were not raised during the booking process, you may be charged a re-delivery fee. We will notify you of any re-delivery fees and provide you with a payment link via email. Once paid, your delivery can be re-booked.
*Please note, for Switzerland and Greece, delivery is up to the second floor only.
Made-to-order items are altered to your chosen specifications, including colour, size and/or finish. As a result, any returns on made-to-order items will be charged at 50% of the total product value.
Should you wish to cancel your order, you have 48 hours to do so. Any cancellations made after 48 hours, or a failed delivery attempt due to access issues, will be charged at 50% of the total product value.
To avoid the latter, we ask that you thoroughly check measurements for all areas leading to your chosen room, including restrictive spaces such as doorways and stairways, prior to placing your order. If you have any questions or concerns about access, please contact our Soho Support team.
To organise a return for any large item(s), please contact our Soho Support team with your order number, an image of the item and your reason for return. They can then arrange a collection with our shipping partner, Jan Krediet, on your behalf.
Our return costs vary depending on the collection address and the items being returned. Our Soho Support team will be able to provide a return shipping quote for you and the cost will be deducted from your total refund amount.
Your goods must be in their original packaging (including labels, and unassembled) and in adherence with our returns policy.
