Set in the former Midland Bank building designed by Sir Edwin ‘Ned’ Lutyens in 1924, The Ned is a joint venture between Soho House and the Sydell group in the heart of the City. Opening in spring 2017, The Ned has eight restaurants, 252 bedrooms channeling 1920s and 1930s design, a range of men’s and women’s grooming services and a members’ club.

Overlooking the London skyline you’ll find Ned’s Clup Upstairs which has a heated pool and two converted domes with outdoor terraces for eating and drinking. Down in the belly of the building, behind the 20-tonne, two metre wide vault door, is the original Midland Bank strongroom, home to The Vault bar and lounge. This members only, all-hours cocktail lounge is lined with more than 3,000 original safety deposit boxes and makes the ideal spot for a nightcap.

Bedrooms range from ‘crash pad’ (intimate, comfortable spaces that are ideal for short stays) to Large (chandeliers, leather wing back chairs) and combine period touches with thoughtful modern conveniences. Whichever room you choose, your bed will have a Hypnos mattress and fluffy goose down duvet and pillows to guarantee an excellent night’s sleep.

Hibiscus is a classic print from the Burleigh archives and this green version, as seen in The Ned, is exclusive to Soho Home. The pattern is packed full of Hibiscus blossoms - which are also known as 'Bermuda Roses' - and will look equally at home in a relaxed, rustic setting as well as on a formal dining table with crisp linens and sparkling crystal.

Our Barwell cut crystal glassware was created to hold our drinks exactly and add a sense of occasion to cocktail hour. A familiar sight in all the Houses, you'll find it everywhere from The Ned to Babington and Miami. With a hand-etched pattern inspired by vintage wallpaper, the range was named after the Barwell Barn at Soho Farmhouse.

You’ll find our classic white House china and stainless steel cutlery in the restaurants at The Ned, which include Lutyens Grill and Cecconi’s City of London. The all day Venetian brasserie will serve the same North Italian favourites as its sister restaurants in Mayfair, Berlin, Barcelona, Istanbul, Miami and West Hollywood.
