This two-colour screen print features a monoprinting overlay, in which the artist paints directly onto each print, making each one completely unique. Kate Bryan, Soho House Head of Collections, says of the work, 'Aimee Parrott has produced one of the most sensual and delicate works on display. It's testament to her experimenting with print-making because it just feels like there are so many different layers, it feels like the ink is still wet, it's all swimming around on the surface. There's a nice duality between these organic lines, you may be looking at fossilised remains or watermarks and something which is quite graphic and bold and strong. What we might call the masculine and the feminine aesthetic sit really beautifully side by side in her practise.'
