The artist explores deep, saturated reds seen at the height of summer in roses, using acrylic paint on canvas.
The memories of tall grasses, bracken and birdsong from a childhood on the Irish coast lead Laura Cramer to seek out English vineyards and woodland walks from her home in Bristol. Intending to 'paint freely', she works in layers with a 'childlike spontaneity'.
