Rise Art presents The Room We Make

The latest Rise Art and Soho Home collaboration explores craftsmanship and creativity as a collective endeavour

At the centre of Rise Art's partnership with Soho Home is a shared belief: art and interiors are most compelling when in dialogue. The latest exhibition, The Room We Make, is inspired by this philosophy and a series of the same name by headline artist Ulrika Segerberg.

Drawing on Soho Home's design heritage and Rise Art's commitment to championing artists, the exhibition features works chosen for their sensitivity to form, material, and detail. It celebrates the idea that a space is built collectively - through exchanges between artists and designers, objects and materials, past influences, and new perspectives. These layered relationships give a room its character, atmosphere, and sense of possibility.

Segerberg's work embodies this approach, moving between painting, installation, folk tales, and popular culture, allowing meaning to evolve through context and encounter.

The collection introduces new artists, including Richard Cook - whose work has been shown at the Tate - and features new releases by established names Henry Ward, Andrew Crane, and Leila Lallali.
