Marta Bonilla fell in love with the freedom of working with clay only a few years ago, but already her pieces are recognised for their handcrafted nature and raw, earthy aesthetic.

Three ceramic vases and a bowl sit on a wooden console table beside a leafy plant. A framed abstract painting with earthy tones hangs behind them, enhancing the stylish arrangement.
Ceramic pitcher, fruit bowl, and butter dish are arranged on a marble countertop with a slice of buttered bread on a plate, against a background with a window and a lamp.

As part of a limited run, the Soho House Barcelona member has created a seven-piece collection to feature on Soho Home, including her signature stoneware Dona lamp with a hand-woven raffia shade (available in the UK only).

The edit also includes a pitcher, butter dish, vase, and fruit platter - all of which has been designed and crafted by Bonilla in her Barcelona studio.

Here, she shares the artists and architects who have inspired her, the techniques she uses, and the city she loves.

Bonilla's pieces reflect the local landscape, capturing the city's mix of nature and design, from the buildings to the beach. With terracotta tones and an unfinished edge, her work has the ability to both ground a space and transport you to the sun-streamed streets near her studio.
